The Celebration and Holiday Branch of the Department of Culture maintains and popularizes the official holidays and traditions of the Principality.

The Celebration and Holiday Recommendation Committee investigates possible changes to the officially sanctioned and celebrated holidays on the Fortressian Calendar, and delivers its proposals to the Directory for consideration.

Holiday Awareness Section

The Holiday Awareness Section informs the general public about the various Fortressian holidays and how they are to be celebrated.

Holiday Traditions Section

The Holiday Traditions Sections both maintains the official traditions for celebrating Fortressian holidays, and catalogs existing traditions as practiced by Pillowans.

State Calendar Section

The State Calendar Section maintains the official Fortressian Calendar. It is responsible for adding leap time when necessary to keep it synchronized year to year.
