MetroTrans

MetroTrans is a state owned state operated (SOSO) business under the authority of the Department of Transportation which serves as the consumer facing corporation managing civilian public transit in the Pillow Fortress. It adheres to the Typical Organization Framework in addition to the following components:

Committees

Transit Fare Committee

The Transit Fare Committee determines the proper fare required for riding a given public transit vehicle or route. Ideally all fares would be zero, that is, free, but in the eventuality that this is not possible, the committee sets the price.

Services

MetroTrans Bus Service

The MetroTrans Bus Service operates bus routes and lines, both those within urban agglomerations and those between urban agglomerations.

MetroTrans Ferry Service

The MetroTrans Ferry Service operates ferries and other boats, such as barges, for transit across lakes and rivers within urban agglomerations.

MetroTrans Local Flavor Services

MetroTrans Local Flavor Services operate forms of public and mass transit which do not fit into one of the other services, that is, the utility of such transit ("local flavor") is limited and only applicable in one or a handful of locations. Such forms of transit may include but are not necessarily limited to carriages, funiculars, gondola lifts, etc.

MetroTrans Metro Rail Service

The MetroTrans Metro Rail Service operates intra-urban agglomeration rail networks.

MetroTrans Rail Service

The MetroTrans Rail Service operates inter-urban agglomeration and inter-provincial rail networks.

MetroTrans Taxi Service

The MetroTrans Taxi Service operates taxicabs within urban agglomerations.
