Special Authorization: Flag of the Sideways Colony
Special authorization is hereby granted to those parties responsible for the design of the flag of the Sideways Colony to ignore official Fortressian vexillography conventions with regards to the 1:2 ratio and the placement of the colonial stripe at the hoist, and instead design the flag with a 2:1 ratio and with the colonial stripe at the top so as to give the impression that the flag is flying sideways relative to other flags of the Principality.
