Exterior Bureau

the Exterior Bureau (note that "the" in "the Exterior Bureau" is always lowercase, even at the start of a sentence) manages relations between the Pillow Fortress and foreign states on behalf of the Princess. At some point in the past it was the Department of the Exterior but was transferred to the Office of the Princess as the Constitution grants the Princess the exclusive power to engage in diplomacy, a power which is then delegated to the bureau.

Branches

Diplomacy Branch

The Diplomacy Branch is tasked with managing the day-to-day diplomatic relations between the Pillow Fortress and foreign states.

Interstate Advocacy Branch

The Interstate Advocacy Branch oversees the establishment of organizations operating within foreign states which are to advocate on behalf of the Principality and its interests. Such organizations operate within the legal boundaries of their host countries.

Interstate Law Branch

The Interstate Law Branch studies comparative law in general and the laws of foreign states in particular.

Interstate Projects Branch

The Interstate Projects Branch oversees civilian projects featuring collaboration between the Principality and one or more foreign states.

Foreign Relations Committee

The Foreign Relations Committee makes recommendations as to what foreign states the Pillow Fortress should recognize diplomatically.

Networks

Embassy and Consulate Network

The Embassy and Consulate Network consists of all Fortressian embassies and consulates located within foreign states.

The Office of the Chief Trade Representative engages in trade negotiations between the Pillow Fortress and foreign states at the highest level.

Office of the Chief of the Exterior

The Office of the Chief of the Exterior is the main organ through which the bureau is managed on the day-to-day level.

Office of the Vice Chief of Administration, the Exterior Bureau

The Office of the Vice Chief of Administration, the Exterior Bureau is responsible for all those organizational components of the department which fall under the TOF.

Office of the Vice Chief of SOSO Businesses, the Exterior Bureau

The Office of the Vice Chief of SOSO Businesses, the Exterior Bureau is responsible for overseeing the various state owned state operated businesses subordinate to the bureau.

Fortressian Interstate Consulting provides consulting, state-building, and nation-building services to governments with which the Principality has friendly relations.
