The Department of Transportation oversees and manages the Principality's transportation networks, at the inter-provincial, intra-provincial, and local levels. Its secretary is recommended by the Council of Territory.

Future Transit Planning Branch
The Future Transit Planning Branch devises expansions and upgrades to Fortressian transportation networks in the mid to long term futures.
Transit Branches
Air Travel Branch
The Air Travel Branch manages and regulates air travel in the Principality.
Rail Branch
The Rail Branch manages and regulates rail travel in the Principality.
Road and Highway Branch
The Road and Highway Branch manages and regulates motor vehicle travel in the Principality.
Waterway Branch
The Waterway Branch manages and regulates travel along the Principality's navigable waterways.
Independent Agencies
Transit Security
Transit Security provides security at the Principality's transit stations, along its transit networks, and on those vehicles and vessels large enough to warrant them, such as planes, trains, and ships.

The Office of the Secretary of Transportation is the main organ through which the department is managed on the day-to-day level.

The Office of the Undersecretary of Administration, Department of Transportation is responsible for all those organizational components of the department which fall under the TOF.

The Office of the Undersecretary of SOSO Businesses, Department of Transportation is responsible for overseeing the various state owned state operated businesses subordinate to the department.

Transportation Signage and Graphic Design Service
The Transportation Signage and Graphic Design Service sets the standards for and designs the various signs and signals used along Fortressian transit networks.

MetroTrans
MetroTrans is the consumer facing corporation which manages civilian public transit in the Pillow Fortress. This includes but is not limited to bus, ferry, metro, provincial and inter-provincial rail, and taxi services.
Pillow Fortress Air
Pillow Fortress Air is the Principality's flag carrier airline.
Pillow Fortress Motor Company
The Pillow Fortress Motor Company designs and manufactures vehicles for military and civilian use such as cars, buses, motorcycles, and other ground vehicles as well as small scale water vessels such as motor boats, barges, and yachts.
