Order of the Militia

The Order of the Militia is a branch of the Platinum Band which serves as the officer corps of the People's Army. It is the smallest of the orders, and does not recruit from the general public, but rather from former commissioned and enlisted personnel of the Band.

Commands

Civilian Training Command

Civilian Training Command (4CITCOM) trains, manages, staffs, and raises units specializing in the training and equipping of civilians for duty in the People's Army.

Militia Command

Militia Command (4MILCOM) trains, manages, staffs, and raises units of the People's Army.

Civilian Records and Assignment Agency

The Civilian Records and Assignment Agency maintains records on the Fortressian civilian population such that in times of emergency the People's Army can be quickly staffed to the fullest.

Networks

Militia Base Network

The Militia Base Network consists of all bases and facilities owned and operated by the Order of the Militia. It includes those bases shared among the various orders of the Platinum Band where the Militia is the one with the largest percentage of administrative responsibility.

Office of the Chief Militia Communications Officer

The Office of the Chief Militia Communications Officer represents the Order of the Militia when engaging with public relations, working closely with and being subordinate to the Militia Branch Spox.

Militia Academy

The Militia Academy is the order's officer training institution.

Services

Militia Information and Statistics Service

The Militia Information and Statistics Service studies and collects information about the order and makes it available to the Department of Defense, the Directory, and the Throne.

Staff

Militia General Staff

The Militia General Staff serves as the commanding unit for the order.
