Abbreviation AMRA

The Advanced Military Research Agency (AMRA) is an independent agency under the authority of the Department of Defense which conducts high level research and scientific development on behalf and for the benefit of the Pillow Fortress Armed Forces. It has a joint civilian/military personnel with civilian leadership, and it adheres to the Typical Organization Framework.

Branches

AMRA Emerging Technologies Branch

The AMRA Emerging Technologies Branch researches the most cutting edge science and technology for potential defense applications.

AMRA Material Sciences Branch

The AMRA Material Science Branch researches advances in material science to improve defense capabilities.

AMRA Medicine and Psychology Branch

The AMRA Medicine and Psychology Branch conducts research into improving the survival and recovery of soldiers from battlefield trauma, both physical and mental.

AMRA Tactics Branch

The AMRA Tactics Branch devises novel tactics and strategies to be deployed in combat.

AMRA Vehicle Branch

The AMRA Vehicle Branch works with the various orders of the Platinum Band to develop vehicles for them which incorporate cutting edge technology.

AMRA Weapons Branch

The AMRA Weapons Branch develops new, more effective lethal and non-lethal weapons.

Post-Conflict Analysis Branch

The Post-Conflict Analysis Branch studies recently concluded conflicts, both those involving the PFAF and those which do not, in order to learn from them so that any mistakes which have been made may be avoided in future conflicts.

AMRA Laboratory and Proving Grounds Network

The AMRA Laboratory and Proving Grounds Network consists of all such locations operated by the AMRA. In most cases, these will likely be on existing military installations, although some standalone laboratories and proving grounds may also exist.
