The Social Security Branch of the Department of Economics manages the Principality's supplementary welfare provisions, that is, those that are not universal, but rather have some form of necessary condition for distribution.

Social Security Fraud Investigation Section

The Social Security Fraud Investigation Section investigates alleged and possible fraud against any of the Principality's social security schemes, referring any such cases to the Department of Justice.

The Unemployment Payment Scheme provides supplementary income to those who have been terminated from their jobs to assist them until they can find another source of employment.

Worker Compensation Scheme

The Worker Compensation Scheme provides supplementary income to those who have been injured and are thus temporarily unable to work.
