The Fortressian Foreign Army (FFA) is a military within the Pillow Fortress Armed Forces that accepts non-Pillowans as recruits, either subjects of the Principality that lack citizenship or foreign nationals. Similar in structure and function to the Order of the Militia, the FFA's commissioned officers are all Fortressian citizens, while its enlisted and NCO personnel are not. Upon completion of a term of service, the enlisted are presented with an offer of citizenship in the Pillow Fortress for themselves and for their family. This process is faster, though more difficult, than other means of obtaining citizenship. FFA units closely resemble those of the Order of the Army, being mostly infantry, and are under the authority of that Order when not attached to a combined military command.

Foreign Troop Command

Field Operating Agencies
The Fortressian Foreign Army shares field operating agencies with those of the Order of the Army, with some exceptions relating to its unique needs.
