System for the Naming of Generational Cohorts
The following Fortressian Generation Cohort Naming System (FGCNS) is established, to be used by government organizations in all matters where it may be necessary to delineate or make note of discrete generations.
Names of generations are to be assigned an alphanumeric code consisting of sequential letters of the alphabet, repeating from A for the generation immediately after the last generation assigned the letter -, followed by a number which is to increment +1 upon the next generation assigned the letter A.
For the purposes of incorporating into the FGCNS generational cohorts which currently exist within the living population, consult the table below:
