Fire Fighting Brigade

The Fire Fighting Brigade is an independent agency under the authority of the Department of Public Services which carries out fire fighting operations within the Principality. It creates standards of training, recruitment, and develops new techniques and equipment for fire fighting, as well as operates the state's network of fire stations. It adheres to the Typical Organization Framework in addition to the following components:

Committees

Fire Safety Standards Committee

The Fire Safety Standards Committee regulates what constitutes safe with regards to fire, explosives, and flammable materials.

The Fire Station Network consists of all such locations operated by the agency.

Office of the Chief Fire Fighter

The Office of the Chief Fire Fighter is the main organ through which the agency is run day-to-day.

Fire Fighting Sciences Section

The Fire Fighting Sciences Section studies and develops new techniques to be used in containing and fighting fires.

Fire Investigation Section

The Fire Investigation Section conducts forensic analysis of fires, to determine their causation.

Local Fire Fighting Brigades

Local fire Fighting Brigades exist at all levels of Fortressian administrative division and are responsible for fighting fires within their areas of responsibility, and to assist other brigades should the need arise.
