Branches
General Branches
Interstate Science, Research, & Development Coordination Branch
The Interstate Science, Research, & Development Coordination Branch coordinates with foreign scientific institutions for the purposes of sharing research, training personnel, and the completing of joint projects.
New Concepts Exploitation Branch
The New Concepts Exploitation Branch studies and evaluates new and emerging technologies and develops roadmaps for integrating them into Fortressian government and society.
Patent Branch
The Patent Branch awards patents to citizens and subjects for inventions.
Public Science Understanding Branch
the Public Science Understanding Branch educates the general population on the history, methods, accomplishments, and continuing necessity of science.

Interstate Grant Review Committee
The Interstate Grant Review Committee has final say over the distribution of government funds for scientific research conducted by entities associated with foreign states.
Pillow Fortress Awards for Scientific Achievement Committee
The Pillow Fortress Awards for Scientific Achievement Committee selects from among qualified individuals the yearly recipients of the highest honors for scientific achievement across all fields.
Scientific Standards Committee
The Scientific Standards Committee sets the standards for ethical and legal scientific research.
Independent Agencies
Pillow Fortress Space Exploration Administration
The Pillow Fortress Space Exploration Administration manages the Principality's various space exploration programs and projects.
State Measurement Standards Agency
The State Measurement Standards Agency evaluates and implements all standards of measurement within the Principality, usually in line with those of the metric system, though Fortressian specific measurements may exist.
State Peer Review Agency
The State Peer Review Agency maintains dedicated teams for the purpose of peer reviewing scientific papers.

Encyclopedia Pillow Fortressica
The Encyclopedia Pillow Fortressica (not to be confused with the Pillow Fortress Wiki) is a joint project of the Department of Culture, the Department of the Interior, the Libertine Party, and under the authority and direction of the Department of Science, Research, & Development to create a single point of information accessible to all Pillowans.

The Journal Archive and Printing Service prints the scientific journals published by the various unified science branches, as well as maintaining a public archive of all scientific journals published within the Pillow Fortress.
SOSO Businesses
Pillow Fortress Research and Development Institute
