The State Security Bureau is an organ of the Office of the Princess which coordinates the various elements of the Pillow Fortress Intelligence Community (PFIC) as well oversees three specific organizations which were deemed to be too sensitive to be anywhere other than directly under the Princess. It is the successor to the defunct Department of State Security.

Branches

Intelligence Analysis Branch

The Intelligence Analysis Branch carries out independent analysis of intelligence gathered by the various elements of the (PFIC).

Intelligence Coordination Branch

The Intelligence Coordination Branch oversees the coordination of intelligence between the members of the PFIC.

Committees

Intelligence Standards Committee

The Intelligence Standards Committee determines the standards for the storage, retrieval, archiving, handling, and disseminating of classified material.

Independent Agencies

Foreign Intelligence Organization

The Foreign Intelligence Organization is the premier member of the PFIC, specializing in HUMINT and counterintelligence.

Geospatial Intelligence Organization

The Geospatial Intelligence Organization specializes in GEOINT and MASINT.

Signals Intelligence Organization

The Signals Intelligence Organization specializes in SIGINT.

Offices

Office of the Chief of Fortressian Intelligence

The Office of the Chief of Fortressian Intelligence runs the bureau on the day-to-day level. The chief is the highest ranking official in the PFIC, and they collect information from all member organizations and provide them to the Princess in the form of daily intelligence bulletins.
