Regarding Awards and Decorations of the Princess
In order to maintain propriety and avoid needless self-aggrandizement, a reigning Princess may not grant or bestow upon herself any awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes, nor may any of her subordinate officers or civil servants within the Throne bestow upon her any awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes. An exception to this shall be those awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes granted or bestowed by the Platinum Band to its personnel for their service, and only if the Princess meets those requirements that would otherwise result in receipt of such awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes, and only if those requirements are not such that only a reigning Princess would be qualified to receive them.
The Directory and the Xeer may grant or bestow upon a reigning Princess any awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes they so choose, so long as the reigning Princess is not a part of either the development of such awards, decorations, distinctions, or prizes, or the choice to grant or bestow her with the same.
Signed,
Her Majesty, First Princess Julia Platz-Halter
