The Emergency Management Organization (EMO) is an independent agency under the authority of the Department of the Interior which provides rapid responses to disasters, both natural and manmade, in order to mitigate their negative consequences. One of the EMO's responsibilities is maintaining a system of readiness statuses for use by it and other organs of the Principality. It adheres to the Typical Organization Framework in addition to the following components:

Branches

Civil Defense Branch

The Civil Defense Branch plans, staffs, and manages the Principality's civil defense capability.

Continuity of Government Branch

The Continuity of Government Branch maintains the Principality's continuity of government operation plans.

Emergency Logistics Branch

The Emergency Logistics Branch manages redundant and "shadow" logistics trains which can be activated in times of emergency.

EMO Volunteer Training Branch

The EMO Volunteer Training Branch teaches vital skills to non-staff civilians which can be used during emergencies.

Environmental Disaster Branch

The Environmental Disaster Branch manages the containment and recovery from disasters involving or effecting the natural environment.

Long Term Recovery Branch

The Long Term Recovery Branch sees to the continued support and supply of areas effected by disasters beyond the passing of the initial emergency.

Refugee Relief Branch

The Refugee Relief Branch manages the agency's response to refugee crises, working closely with the Refugee and Asylum Branch of the Department of Immigration & Emigration.

EMO Bunker, Shelter, and Refugee Camp Network

The EMO Bunker, Shelter, and Refugee Camp Network consists of all such locations operated by the agency.

The Office of the Chief of Emergency Management is the main organ through which the agency is run day-to-day.

Paramilitaries

Home Front

Home Front mobilizes mass civilian response to both natural disasters and armed conflict. During times of peace it is under the authority of the EMO, and transferred to the Department of Defense during war.

Emergency Broadcasting Service

The Emergency Broadcasting Service provides alerts and updates to Fortressian citizens in times of emergency.

Emergency Printing Service

The Emergency Printing Service prints instructions and other documents relating to conduct during an emergency.
