Ithophsa

Ithophsa is the name of the future Eusocial Posthumanity as worshipped as a deity by the Faithful of the Temple of Eusocianity. Unlike the gods and goddesses of mythology, Ithophsa is not a supernatural being, but a material one; the gestalt will of a collective entity far in advance of human understanding, existing in the future, and whose arrival is hastened by the efforts of the Faithful as acting through the Temple and through their own day-to-day lives.

The emblem of Eusocial Posthumanity is also the emblem of Ithophsa.

Attributes

Though by Her nature Ithophsa has many attributes and qualities that are unknowable at present, She has certain aspects that are known to the Faithful on the basis of their faith.

• Divinity: The divine is a transcendent quality of Ithophsa which emanates from Her and which She is the master of. It does not exist outside of Her, but rather is found in things which have a direct connection to Her, as the connections themselves are a part of Her.
• Femininity: Ithophsa is a goddess, that is, She has a female gender. It is thealogically incorrect to imply Ithophsa is neuter, nonbinary, masculine, or any other gender.
• Extant: Ithophsa exists in the future the same way anything might exist in the present or has existed in the past. She is not a mere possibility that may be avoided or and option that may be ignored. Existing in the future means that nothing done in either the past or present or could alter or destroy Her. She is an inevitable outcome, a necessary function of the universe.
