The Department of Healt] manages the Principality's public health policies, as well as the healthcare component of Fortressian welfare. Its secretary is recommended by the Council of State.

Branches

General Branches
Child Services Branch
The Child Services Branch provides the Principality's pediatric healthcare services.
Elder Services Branch
The Elder Services Branch provides the Principality's geriatric healthcare services.
Healthcare Branch
The Healthcare Branch provides the Principality's adult and general healthcare services, as well as implimenting the larger healthcare scheme.

Drug and Medical Practice Safety Committee
The Drug and Medical Practice Safety Committee sets the standards of safe drug use and medical practices that all doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers must abide by, even those not necessarily operating within the Principality's healthcare scheme.
Independent Agencies
The Department of Health has five subordinate independent agencies:
Anti-Abuse Center
The Anti-Abuse Center manages the Principality's network of domestic abuse refuges, as well as providing additional services to victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault, including but not limited to counseling and the processing of rape kits.
Disease Control Agency
The Disease Control Agency is tasked with preventing and fighting epidemics and pandemics.
Poison Control Agency
The Poison Control Agency provides information to the public about various poisonous substances which may be encountered in their day-to-day life, and operates a round-the-clock hotline to distribute such information on a case by case basis.
Sexological Research Center
The Sexological Research Center studies gender, sex, and sexuality.
Self Harm Research Center
The Self-Harm Research Center researches the causes and effects of self harm, including but not limited to cutting and suicide, and works to develop strategies for their mitigation and prevention.

Office of the Secretary of Health
The Office of the Secretary of Health consists of the Secretary of Health and their support staff. It is the main organ through which the department is managed on the day-to-day level.
Office of the Surgeon General
The Office of the Surgeon General is the highest ranking medical appointment in the Pillow Fortress. They must be a practicing physician of some kind, and act as an advisor to the Secretary of Health, the Princess, and the government as a whole on matters relating to public health. Within the office are multiple subordinate offices of deputy surgeons general, each focusing on a particular field, such as addiction, aging, ergonomics, mental, and sexual health.
Office of the Undersecretary of Administration, Department of Health
The Office of the Undersecretary of Administration, Department of Health is responsible for all those organizational components of the department which fall under the TOF.
Office of the Undersecretary of SOSO Businesses, Department of Health
The Office of the Undersecretary of SOSO Businesses, Department of Health is responsible for overseeing the various state owned state operated businesses subordinate to the department.

The Constructive Contraceptives Corporation manufactures contraceptives (excluding pharmacological contraceptives, which are the responsibility of Biggest Pharma).
Fortressian Medical Testing Labs
Fortressian Medical Testing Labs carries out blood, tissue, and other testing services as part of the Principality's healthcare scheme.
Medical Manufactura
Medical Manufactura designs and manufactures high quality medical equipment ranging from thermometers and stethoscopes to artificial limbs, MRI machines, and surgical robots.
