The Sex Work Guild is one of the permanent members of the Council of Labor, representing sex workers, such as pornographic actors, prostitutes, and professional Dominatrices. Excluded are the non-participating crews on pornographic films and photoshoots, pimps/madams, and producers of material that, while sexual in nature, do not require an actual sex act to occur for their creation, such as erotic literature and hentai. The existence of the Sex Work Guild is no doubt controversial, but regardless of whether or not sex work should exist in some ultimate moral sense, it does exist, and those who engage in it should be afforded the same rights as those who engage in any other kind of work. This includes representation on the Council of Labor.
