The Department of Internally Displaced People was a department of the Throne which managed sentencing and accommodations of those individuals convicted of crimes under Fortressian Law. It was, however, determined to be too small an organ to be independent, and was abolished and replaced by the Internally Displaced Persons Branch of the Department of Justice.
