The Domestic Intelligence Organization (DIO) is an independent agency under the authority of the Department of Justice which serves as the Principality's main internal security organization. It is a member of the Pillow Fortress Intelligence Community. It adheres to the Typical Organization Framework in addition to the following components:

Anti-crime branches
Anti-Financial Crime Branch
The Anti-Financial Crime Branch investigates and prosecutes instances of serious financial crime.
Anti-Organized Crime Branch
The Anti-Organized Crime Branch investigates and prosecutes organized criminal enterprises operating within the Principality.
Anti-Postal Crime Branch
The Anti-Postal Crime Branch investigates and prosecutes instances of mail fraud and other crimes involving the Fortressian postal service.
Anti-Subversive Crimes Branch
The Anti-Subversive Crimes Branch investigates and prosecutes instances of subversion against the Principality as well as disrupting subversive groups.
Anti-Terrorism Branch
The Anti-Terrorism Branch investigates and intervenes to prevent acts of terrorism.
Anti-Violent Crimes Branch
The Anti-Violent Crimes Branch investigates and prosecutes instances of violent crimes.
Missing Persons Branch
The Missing Persons Branch locates individuals who have gone missing.

Community Peacekeeping Supplemental Training Branch
The Community Peacekeeping Supplemental Training Branch provides local Peacekeepers cells additional training in related law enforcement fields, should it be necessary.

The DIO Field Officer Training Branch ensures the high level of skill and competency of DIO officers.
