Pillowans Abroad Government

The Pillowans Abroad Government is the government of the Pillowans Abroad Province, managing its day-to-day affairs on behalf of the Throne. While its structure is based on that of a standard Provincial Government, due to being non-territorial, there are significant changes to how it functions.

Canton Governing Boards

The Canton Governing Boards of the Pillowans Abroad Government serve a different function than those of other provincial governments as they do not manage any townships nor provide oversight to any municipalities, but instead serve as liaisons between Pillowans living in those cantons and the higher levels of government.

The Pillowans Abroad Inter-Provincial Affairs Branch coordinates with other provincial governments on projects, issues, and factors which are the responsibility of the Pillowans Abroad Government and one or more other provincial governments.

Pillowans Abroad Culture Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Culture Branch studies and encourages the development and practice of Fortressian culture outside the Principality's territory.

Pillowans Abroad Economics & Industry Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Economics & Industry Branch manages the collection of revenue from Pillowans living outside the Principality's territory, such as remittances.

Pillowans Abroad Education Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Education Branch rates foreign schools against Fortressian standards and sets recommendations for Pillowans living outside the Principality's territory.

Pillowans Abroad Health Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Health Branch provides alerts on regional epidemics and other health related information that may be of use or interest to Pillowans living outside the Principality's territory.

Pillowans Abroad Justice Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Justice Branch provides legal services such as updating vital records, and issuing passports and identification cards to Pillowans living outside the Principality's territory.

Pillowans Abroad Science, Research, & Development Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Science, Research, & Development Branch works with Fortressian scientists living, working, and studying abroad.

Pillowans Abroad Transportation Branch

The Pillowans Abroad Transportation Branch provides travel updates and advisory notices to Pillowans living outside the Principality's territory.

The Pillowans Abroad Historical Society preserves, maintains, interprets, and popularizes the history of the Fortressian diaspora. It works in close collaboration with the Pillow Fortress Historical Society.

The Office of the Pillowans Abroad Administrator is the main organ through which the province is run day-to-day. An administrator is the head of a province, and they are appointed by the Department of Territory, usually from among the College of Territory Administrators.
