Canton Governing Boards

Canton governing boards (CGBs) are organs of provincial governments which manage the day to day administration of all non-self governing population centers within the province, with each governing board responsible for all such population centers within its designated canton. A provincial government will have one board for each of the cantons within its province. Canton governing boards do not constitute canton level government. CGBs technically also have oversight role in governing municipalities, however most tasks which would be carried out by the board are devolved to the municipal government. The exact form of a CGB may change due to specific circumstances involved with their canton, but they do share a typical organization structure:

X CGB Steering Committee

The X CGB Steering Committee receives instructions and directives from the provincial government which it then must carry out throughout the canton. The members of the steering committee are the managers of the various governing offices. The CGB President is the highest ranking member of the committee.

The Office of the X CGB Community Cohesion Manager manages the inter-communal harmony within the canton.

The The Office of the X CGB Economic Manager manages the canton's economic development.

Office of the X CGB Infrastructure Manager

The Office of the X CGB Infrastructure Manager manages the development of the canton's critical infrastructure.

The Office of the X CGB Nature and Environment Manager manages the canton's natural environment.

Office of the X CGB Peacekeeper Manager

The Office of the X CGB Peacekeeper Manager manages the canton's Peacekeepers.

The Office of the X CGB Public Health Manager manages public health and safety within the canton.

The Office of the X CGB Public Services Manager coordinates the various public services within the canton.

The Office of the X CGB Transportation Manager manages transportation between and within the various Townships and Municipalities within the canton.
