The Pillow Fortress Mint (the Mint) is an independent agency under the authority of the Department of Economics which was intended to design and print the Principality's physical currency, the Pillow Fortress Real (PFR). Even after the PFR was abolished by Royal Decree 00028 and the Mint lost its primary purpose, it remained established with the intention of being reorganized. It adheres to the Typical Organization Framework.

The Pillow Fortress Numismatic Society is a hobbyist club focusing on the study and collection of currency, which, while being wholly independent from the government, receives patronage from the mint in the form of monetary assistance and exclusive news and information.
