Pillow Fortress Real
The Pillow Fortress Real (PFR) (pronunciation: ree-ALL) was the currency of the Principality and one of the currencies of the Serene Gate. Its name was inspired by the Brazilian real as a pun on the word "real", in reference to how the Principality is viewed by the rest of the world as being a "fake" state. The long term goal of the Pillow Fortress is to transcend commodity production and thus have no need for money, but during the immediate, short, and mid term futures it's recognized that such a medium of exchange was necessary for economic and general development. On 14 Turridor the Princess officially abolished the PFR via royal decree and set the government to developing a digital currency to serve as its successor.
